Single sign-on (SSO) options in CUGIC
Single sign-on (SSO) enables you to authenticate users in your own systems without asking them to enter their additional login credentials for your CUGIC Support. Both JSON Web Token (JWT) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) are supported.
For enhanced user authentication, you can use single-sign on to authenticate users outside CUGIC. CUGIC offers three types of SSO:
- Social Account
- Business Account and
- Enterprise

SSO Important Facts
- Admin and agents can sign in with their Google, Microsoft or CUGIC accounts. Customers can sign in through their social, business or CUGIC accounts. All users groups can use enterprise single sign-on, but it will replace the existing SSO methods.
- If your CUGIC is restricted or closed, and a user tries to sign in with another email (other than the one registered with CUGIC), their request will be rejected.
- You must use JWT (JSON Web Token) if you want to sync custom user fields when a user signs in.
- You must set one as the primary authentication if your use JWT or SAML (Secure Assertion Markup Language).
CUGIC SSO solution ensures that you are ready to roll out a safe
and secure access to your employees within minutes.

Social and Business Account Single Sign-On
Social and business account single sign-on are additional sign-in options which you can provide for users' convenience. These logins can be made available on Help Center sign in page, so users can authenticate it with their social/business or CUGIC accounts.
By social accounts we mean Facebook and Twitter and business accounts include Google and Microsoft. Agents and admins can authenticate with business accounts only, whereas the end users can authenticate with both.
